[샌디에고 루어낚시] 2025. 02. 28 @ Sunset Cliffs + Harbor Island, San Diego - 원투낚시

2025. 02. 28. 금요일 퇴근 후 

1. 장소 (Location): Harbor Island, SD 샌디에고
2. 시간 & 물때 (Time & Tide):  14:00 - 17:00,  간조  (slack tide) -1 ft
3. 오늘의 조과 (Today's Catch):  매퉁이 1 마리 & 고등어 3마리 & 가오리 1 마리 ( 1 Lizard fish & 3 mackerel & 1 round stingray)
4. 오늘의 채비 (Today's setup)
    - 낚싯대 (Rod): 6' 6" Uglystick GX2 custom 루어용& 10ft Daiwa emcast MH 원투용
    - 릴 (Reel): 다이와 23 레가리스 LT 3000-CHX (Daiwa 23 Legalis LT 3000-CHX) 루어용 & KastKing Kapstan SE 3000 원투용
    - 낚싯줄 (Line): 원줄 합사 15lb 테스트 + 목줄 카본 15lb 테스트 (루어용) & 25lb 합사 원줄 + 20lb 카본 목줄 (원투용)
    - 루어 (Lure): 다양한 메탈 지그 25-30g & 말린 고등어

새로 산 미디움-헤비 낚싯대가 생각보다 단단해서, 강제로 원투 낚시 시작 ㅋㅋ 시작은 선셋클리프에서 시작. 파도가 너무 쌔서 1시간 만에 봉돌 세 개 잃어버리고 철수. I bought a new medium-heavy fishing rod, and it's sturdier than expected, so I ended up trying surfcasting lol. Started at Sunset Cliff, but the waves were so strong that I lost three sinkers in just an hour and had to pack up.

하버아일랜드로 옮기고 원투 낚싯대부터 세팅. 미끼는 말린 고등어. I moved to Harbor Island and started setting up the surfcasting rod. The bait was dried mackerel.

기다리기 지루하니 옆에서 루어낚시 시작. 한 시간 남짓만에 고등어 세 마리 & 매퉁이 한 마리. 요즘엔 Spottie가 잘 안 나온다. 요즘엔 고등어만 잡힘. 다 방생. I started lure fishing on the side. Within about an hour, I caught three mackerels and one lizardfish. Lately, spotties haven’t been biting, and only mackerels are being caught. Released all.

빵좋은 매퉁이. 역시나 아가미 안쪽에 기생충. 다 뜯어 주고 방생.

 

중간중간 원투대 보는데, 탑가이드가 흔들흔들 움직인다. 그러다가 갑자기 초릿대가 꼴아박힘. 후킹. 어이구 생각보다 무겁다. 근데 무거운 수건이 끌려오는 느낌ㅋㅋ 처음 잡아보는 가오리가 나왔다. 쏘는 종류일까 봐 아주 조심조심. 집단지성의 총아인 reddit에 물어보니 California round stingray로 의견이 모임 ㅋㅋ I checked the surfcasting rod from time to time, and the top guide was wobbling. Suddenly, the tip of the rod bent down hard—hooked! Uh? it felt heavier than expected, but more like a heavy towel being dragged 🤣. Never caught this type of ray before. I was super cautious since I thought it might be a stingray. I asked on Reddit, and the consensus was that it was a round stingray.

이날은 아니였지만, 다른 날에 가오리가 많이 보였다. 아주 무리지어 때로 다님.

 

집에 오라는 와이프의 호출로 오늘은 마감. 한 주의 마무리를 평온하게 할 수 있음에 감사.
